I was also dissapointed to hear Mr Link arrogantly insist his organisation be prioritised. The public will determine the quality and integrity of observational bodies based on their processes and their performance. OSCE's work will stand for itself. Attacking other organisations is a terrible reflection on OSCE and raises suspicion of it's level of political Independence.

The 1980 USA Presidential Elections were twice as noncompetitive as these elections. Reagan won 90% of the Electoral College seats. A strong candidate with only weak opposition does not indicate the election process is unsound. I'm saddened that OSCE have made that conclusion. It undermines their integrity.

A lack of competition is NOT/NEVER a failure of Democracy. It recognises a CONSENSUS. Or it is a symptom of a failure to provide a superior alternative.
